A SPIRITUAL CONSPIRACY

On the surface of the world right now there is war and violence and things seem dark.

But calmly and quietly, at the same time, something else is happening underground. An inner revolution is taking place and certain individuals are being called to a Higher Light. It is a silent revolution. From the inside out. From the ground up.

This is a Global operation. A Spiritual Conspiracy. There are sleeper cells in every nation on the planet. You won’t see us on the T.V. You won’t read about us in the newspaper. You won’t hear about us on the radio.

We don’t seek any glory. We don’t wear any uniform. We come in all shapes and sizes, colors and styles. Most of us work anonymously. We are quietly working behind the scenes in every country and culture of the world, cities big and small, mountains and valleys . . . in farms and villages, tribes and remote islands.

You could pass by one of us on the street and not even notice. We go undercover. We remain behind the scenes. It is of no concern to us who takes the final credit. But simply that the work gets done.

Occasionally, we spot each other in the street. We give a quiet nod and continue on our way.

During the day, many of us pretend we have normal jobs. But behind the false storefront, at night, is where the real work takes place.

Some call us the Conscious Army. We are slowly creating a new world with the power of our minds and hearts. We follow with passion and joy. Our orders come from the Central Spiritual Intelligence. We are dropping soft, secret love bombs when no one is looking.

Poems, Hugs, Music, Photography, Movies, Kind Words, Smiles, Meditation and Prayer, Dance, Social Activism, Websites, Blogs, Random Acts of Kindness … We each express ourselves in our own unique ways, with our own unique gifts and talents.

Be the change you want to see in the world; that is the motto that fills our hearts. We know it is the only way real transformation takes place. We know that quietly and humbly we have the power of all the oceans combined.

Our work is slow and meticulous like the formation of mountains. It is not even visible at first glance. And yet, with it, entire tectonic plates shall be moved in the centuries to come.

Love is the new religion of the 21st century. You don’t have to be a highly educated person or have any exceptional knowledge to understand it. It comes from the intelligence of the heart, embedded in the timeless evolutionary pulse of all human beings.

Be the change you want to see in the world. Nobody else can do it for you.

It is MAGIC, made manifest this time of year in subtle (and obvious) ways, that underscores soft sentiment: tenderness for the past, courage for the present, and hope for the future.

Ancient traditions link us, One and All, via magical memories. For example, the tradition of making a tree an integral part of winter celebrations has profound collective, symbolic meaning. For centuries, live evergreen trees have been brought into homes during the harsh, cold winter as a reminder that we are connected to the Earth in sacred and profound ways—-and that Mother Earth has (and always will) provide blessings at Harvest Time; it is a symbol that harkens back to the spiritual remembrance (and honoring) of THE TREE OF LIFE.

Myth and Folklore (along with age-old traditions behind holidays and other seasonal celebrations) help us to bridge the mystical realms that parallel what we think of as “normal reality”.

Wikipedia defines folklore as:  “the body of expressive culture . . . including tales, music, dance, legends, oral history, proverbs, jokes, popular beliefs, and customs.” This is an analytical way of saying that it is folklore and legend that connects us to the ancient, poetic wisdom of our ancestors, a deep well of knowledge rarely tapped in modern, western society.

Often, folklore is translated to us within a subset of written and spoken language, invoking a right-brained system that is closer to the kind of communication offered in our dreams …. cryptic symbols that can be puzzling, sometimes frightening, and sometimes playful. Superstition also falls into this category.

It is folklore, myth, legend and superstition that bridges past, present, and future in transcendent, magical ways—-even while guiding us to a greater understanding of ourselves and our own personal journey on this magical-mystery tour called “life on Earth”.

The best way to begin one’s treasure hunt for invaluable clarification and surprise bonuses buried deep within myth and legend is to search out books such as Barbara Walker’s “The Women’s Encyclopedia of Myths” along with “Secrets or A Dictionary of Superstitions” by Iona Opie and Moira Tatem. These compilations are two excellent examples (of many) that offer well-researched resource material and I have heavily drawn from both of them for this article.

For instance, did you ever wonder why it’s considered “bad luck” to break a mirror? According to Barbara Walker, “the ancients attributed mystic powers to any reflective surface, solid or liquid, because the reflection was considered part of the soul. Heavy taboos were laid on the act of disturbing water into which a person was gazing, because shattering the image meant danger to the soul. Hence the similar taboo on breaking a mirror, now said to bring seven years bad luck.”

Walker goes on (in the mirror section of her book) to write about scrying, the art of divining the future …. accomplished by gazing into a (back-lit) mirror, bowl of water, or other clear, polished surface. She writes: “Water represented the Abyss, the numinous hidden spirit world; its reflections therefore could be read as shadows cast ahead by future events. In fairy tales, the land of souls often appeared as a hall of mirrors.”

There has been an under-reported, modern-day resurgence of the art of scrying. In part, new interest has been stirred by an innovative medical doctor named Raymond Moody. Dr. Moody has also written several books on the subject of “life after life.” Dr. Moody conducts paranormal studies at his private research institute in rural Alabama—a place he calls “The John Dee Memorial Theater of the Mind”.

John Dee popularized crystal gazing in sixteenth century England. Dr. Moody is continuing in the spirit of John Dee as he uses scrying as a tool to evoke “apparitions of the dead” under controlled conditions. For this purpose, Dr. Moody built a mirrored room where guests come to scry, hoping for a visit from a dead loved one—Dr. Moody supervises these encounters with a high percentage of success.

So, you can quickly see how one can travel down the long, curving road of folklore and soon find oneself at multiple junctions, intersections, and crossroads. One simple question leads to an answer embedded with more questions …. revealing even more complex answers and so forth …. Like I said, it’s the ultimate treasure hunt and adventure once you cross that invisible (but very real) bridge known as folklore.

Myth and legend offer comforting reminders that there is more to this world than meets the eye. In subtle, and not so subtle ways, such knowledge reveals a profound truth …. that we do not walk alone in this 3-d world, that unseen forces help us to shape our future; this includes those poignant, transcendental “bread crumbs of thought” left by our ancestors, also known as folklore.

Marked by our own spiritual growth, we are encouraged forward as we discover otherworldly clues that can lead us to enlightenment.

“The ancient Summer Solstice festivals are still widely celebrated in Britain, Cornwall, Ireland and parts of Northern Europe.

“In the northern hemisphere, the Summer Solstice is when the sun reaches its farthest point north of the Celestial Equator. This day has the greatest amount of time between sunrise and sunset making it the longest day (and shortest night) of the year, falling around June 21st every year. (In the southern hemisphere, the winter and summer solstices are reversed.)

“The Midsummer Solstice, also referred to by Neo-pagans as ‘Litha’, signifies the turning-point of the Summer Season in the cycle of the year.

Sacred Geometry blesses us EVERYWHERE!

In the stillness of the night, as I stand on my porch gazing into the woods, moonlight shines through the branches of the trees forming a perfect triangular shape.

I’ve often wondered if such magical moments are a natural result of staring (and/or meditating) too long—similar to staring at a star as it appears to be dancing.

Sometimes, a Circle of Oneness forms from “twiggy branches” that bend into that beautiful, eternal shape—most apparent once the leaves have fallen off the trees. Add the distant brilliance of the moon (or the sun) and a circle appears entwined within a circle.

During reflective moments such as these, when those mystical shapes in nature appear to us, we are invited to glimpse “beyond the veil” into a dimension of limitless possibilities. God speaks to us through Universal Sacred shapes, conveying deep messages of love.

The Universe says to us, “Look, if I can do this, consider how much you and I can do together. Let us co-create!”

Such symbolic messages often appear at just the right time in our
lives—manifested as “signs” embedded into the side of a tree, nestled within the weaving of knotted wood or an emerging bark relief.

Sacred Geometry can also speak to us in the form of spiraling curls of
fiddle-head-ferns (just before they fully bloom)—”the little people” I like to call them.

Sacred geometry dances across the forest floor in Trillium and Lady Slippers, acorns and pine cones—-food and shelter for the seen and unseen.

It also provides homes and protection (in the form of shells) for sea creatures. There are stars in the sky and starfish beneath the ocean!

It’s not by “mere chance” that (on a clear sunny day) one can see the sky and trees mirrored perfectly atop a smooth, calm, glassy lake or pond.

Our (humanity’s) cell structure is shaped like a cross. Our DNA is shaped like a neverending Mobius Strip.

Sacred Geometry underscores and enhances our existence. This fact is evident in our natural world—it manifests in countless ways—all we have to do is look a little deeper as we open our eyes, minds, and hearts.

The Universe whispers its omnipotence and magnificence to us within breathtaking Sacred Geometry, Synchronicity, and our own INTUITION—a Grand Design that doesn’t end here on Earth.

Ancient writings relay that “God created the worlds” (plural). These created worlds have taken up residence in the heavens in the form of planets and constellations—-perhaps this is an implication of other life forms?

In actuality, it’s not a mystery at all—it’s a mystical, magical, miracle!

It is there and it is here. When we take a moment to contemplate the greater implications, we come to realize that the MAGIC is everywhere,
everyday—reflected as a charming bird’s nest, a spiraled sea shell, Saturn’s rings, an age-old redwood tree, a pine cone, a fire-fly, a falling leaf, or the Big Dipper. The list is endless.

So, the next time you are walking in the park, or staring at the clouds, take notice. See for yourself—Don’t just take my word for it! Ultimately, I KNOW that you will be pleasantly surprised!

After graduating from Notre Dame College in Manchester, NH with a Bachelor of Arts degree in commercial art, SUSAN MARROTTE has continued to pursue a career in art and writing, life-long passions. Beltane (or Beltaine) is the Gaelic name for the festival that rightly begins on April the 30th (or Beltane Eve) and continues on first day of May—May Day.

Marking the beginning of the summer season comes the lighting of two great bonfires on Beltane Eve.

[From DOTS: For many, particularly in the Northern Hemisphere, the celebration continues through May 5th, an auspicious time aligned with the "tipping point" of Spring.]

Significantly, as the Goddess (Brigid) moves through her various phases, Beltane sees the womanly aspect of the Summer Goddess banish the Old Crone aspect of the Winter Goddess—-in readiness for the maternal time and the fruits of nature to follow.

As this is one of the magical turning points of the Sacred Seasons, the veil between worlds is thought to be especially thin. As a result, many of the Fairy Host (the Sidhe and the Tuatha De Danann) may be seen crossing between the worlds.

The Faerie Queen travels about on Beltane night—-take care, for if you gaze too long on her enchanted beauty, she may whisk you away to live in her “Other Realms” for an eternity.

The Faerie Queen also represents the May Queen, although in practice the honor is usually carried out by young women who are soon to be married.

The May Queen’s role in the Beltane proceedings, along with her May King, (mythically a “Jack in The Green”) the Green Man or Horned-God, is to take part in the Great Rite and open the way for the Summer.

This is the Sacred Marriage of the God and Goddess, often reenacted by a symbolic union—during which the Athame (a magical knife symbolizing male energy) is placed into the Chalice (a Sacred Cup symbolizing female energy).

Most ancient Druids’ only magical ‘tool’ was their voice and their words.

The Druidic Rosc is a rhetorical, magical, chant.

“Taliesin” is probably the most famous of the Cynfeirdd (the early Bards).

His name has been interpreted as “radiant brow”—possibly referring to his blonde hair, but equally possibly representing the radiance of his gift of poetry—his awen.

I recall having a connection with the paranormal from early childhood. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to receive visits from those I have known as they “cross-over.“

I keep a journal of the information (including the time of the visit) in order to pass the important details on to their loved ones. I often get “visions” or information about others during meditation and have “taken” messages from several people while they were in a state that did not allow them speak.

I have so many stories to tell in this regard—I’m certain I could write an entire book filled with them!

My friend’s grandmother spent her few last years in a nursing home. I’d often go with my friend (and her mother) during their weekly visits. Sadly, my friend’s grandma went into a coma.

Several weeks later, during a visit to the nursing home, I “heard” Grandma say she was ready to move on. Grandma said her husband was there “waiting for her”, but she wanted to give her family a chance to say their good-byes.

I passed this information on to my friend and suggested that the family indeed find closure and say “farewell” to Grandma. They did so the following weekend—Grandma passed away that same night.

I told the previous story to a friend and she asked if I would visit her mother who was physically unable to move or speak. I did not know the family but I was willing to see if her mom would feel comfortable “talking” to me. During our visit, I held her mother’s hand and meditated. Within the hour, I started to pick-up on some words. I asked specific questions, but the bottom line was that her mother wanted the family to stop arguing around her—it upset her deeply. In consideration of her mothers feelings, my friend and her family found another way to communicate with each other. After that, I’m pleased to say her mother appeared more comfortable as a result.

I divorced after a 22-year marriage and it was several years before I felt like dating. The majority of dates typically lasted between 20-30 minutes because the men I met were weren’t very evolved (and that’s putting it nicely :^)

One afternoon, while at work, a computer repairman (James) walked into my office. At that moment, I saw a purple glow in the corner of the room and heard the glow say, “He’s the one.“

James and I immediately hit it off. That evening, we went to dinner. During our conversation, I told James about the “glow-voice” and stated that I felt it was his mother.

James confirmed that his mom had passed and he was in fact a “momma’s boy”. It has been seven years and I am thrilled to say we are still together. His mother still contacts me, provides me with information, and I enjoy her gentle energy.

This was taken on Sunday, 13th March 2011, 2 days after a devastating 8.9 earthquake rocked that country, followed by a devastating tsunami. (NOTE: the UFO appears toward the end of the following clip.) Though this footage is short, it is impressive.
