At the Dance of the Spirit Facebook page, we have noticed an ongoing conversation about Spirituality and Religion. Here at DOTS, we honor and support each and every light-bridge to God, our Divine Source. We believe that this honoring of other collective and individual pathways to Source can (and should) include a conscious awareness that focuses on (and emphasizes) Tolerance. By honoring other spiritual belief systems, we increase the potentiality that our own will be honored. As the woman known as Peace Pilgrim so beautifully put it: “When you find peace within yourself, you become the kind of person who can live at peace with others.” Tonja Edgecomb continues this inspiring idea with shining words presented in the article below. Peace Be With You. Namaste, Crystal Claire Waters.
“Don’t try to use what you learn from Buddhism to be a Buddhist; use it to be a better whatever-you-already-are.”
His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama

“What Religion Are you?” This is how I respond to that question: I believe in a Supreme Intelligence that presides over all of the Infinite Cosmos—an Energy that connects and permeates EVERTHING.
I also believe that each of us is responsible for developing our own relationship with the Divine. I believe that spirituality is a reflection of our own, personal (and individual) relationship with Universal Oneness.
There is no right or wrong way to make this crucial connection: burn sage, ring bells, beat drums, chant, dance . . . do whatever helps you to raise your vibration so that you can commune with Cosmic Consciousness. Participating in these activities with other like-minded people magnifies your vibrations because it magnifies the overall intention.

“We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature—trees, flowers, grass—grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence. We need silence to be able to touch souls.” Mother Teresa

It’s all about intention. Whatever leads you to open communication with the Divine is right. There is only one Universal Energy. True connection with the Divine cannot be mistaken. It leads to the same outcome: a peace and joy that permeates your being.

The love of all creation exists because it is also part of you. Mother Teresa, Lao Zi, Gandhi, The Dalai Lama, Jesus, Buddha . . . there are many who have shared this Cosmic experience. Their practices differed but their experiences were the same: They knew Oneness with the Divine.
“Where two or more of you gather, I’ll be there.” Mathew 18:20
