In Normal, Illinois, a couple of lovebirds married while sitting at a booth inside a Taco Bell restaurant.
The groom acknowledged that the couple has “an offbeat relationship.” The two met on an Internet dating site. They spent nine months writing back and forth and talking on the phone before “jumping the broom.” To add to the unusual nature of their relationship, the pair already shared the same last name. And, according to the bride, they also “share the same brain, just in two bodies.”
He proposed on New Year’s Eve and, because they like to spend time at the local Taco Bell, they decided to wed there. A friend of the couple’s (who was ordained online) administered the vows. The bride wore a $15 hot pink dress and the entire wedding cost about $200.
